I'm a writer living in a Chicago neighborhood called Arcadia Terrace--a name that few, other than residents and realtors, seem to know. But since my name is Joan, and I've always had a fondness for my namesake, the choice of name for this blog seemed a natural.
Like my saintlier sister, I have my own obsessions and I hope this venue will provide me with an outlet for my musings, opinions, and rants.
